Prompt: "You get a offical looking envelope with the words "YOU MAY HAVE ALREADY WON" printed big and red on it from a company called "Peerless"
Tell what you do (or don't do with the envelope.)
Start with...Life takes some funny twists and turns."
Life takes some funny twists and turns and frankly that letter was not what I wanted to see. Other piece of JUNK. Another piece of wasted paper from a poor tree that I wish was living instead of clogging up the space in the mail, in my mail box, and now sitting on the kitchen counter. And soon to be dumped in the recycling. Here I sit on the couch trying to watch TV when this envelope keeps popping up in my head, what if something really important was in it actually? Why can't my mind just drop it? IT'S JUNK, i tell myself. A few hours later I'm in bed and I awake and begin thinking about the envelope and the words on it. I am a very visual person so i try to think about what the company was thinking when they put those words on that page in arial font, bolded, in all caps, and finally why it was bright FF0000 (red). I mean if it was nothing then they probably wouldn't of spent all that time and effort into doing all that. So, now I am out of bed walking towards the letter on the kitchen counter, mind set on opening that letter! finally i tear the edges of the letter trying to pry it open, i have always been sucky at opening envelopes, good thing the envelopes were not needed after you opened them because if they weren't well...lets just say, what good would some shredded paper be? a good three minutes and a paper cut later, the envelope is open. and to my dismay, there's nothing inside this mysterious envelope. GREAT, i think to myself as i waddle back to bed.
